To the People that Helped Me Reach the NFL
As the NBA playoffs are in full swing and discussions of all-time greats fill the halls of barber shops and office buildings alike, I believe it’s time to commemorate some of our favorite duos. Things are better in two’s: the two dollar bill, twins, superheroes, you name it. When it comes to the peach basket and round ball, I have a soft spot for presence in the post. I have to rank my number one dynamic nerd-bashing duo as Dale and Antonio Davis. Yes, this is purely based on the fact that I am a Pacer fan and these two played during the prime of my life, but never the less, they owned property in the paint and earned it with heir elbows and hard fouls.
Lets continue… “The Mailman” Karl Malone wouldn’t have been able to stuff so many round balls without the all-time assist king John Stockton. I’ve written about these two before, and I can’t say it enough, they not only made court magic but bridged the racial barrier of America. Even the rivalries were fun, Magic and Larry, Isiah and the whole NBA, Reggie and Spike etc… One-man shows are cool, but when there is a dynamic duo the passion of the game increases.
I’d love to hear more about your favorite duo’s and why you love them! Go to the CyberProps app and give props to your favorite NBA duo by propping “CyberProps” and explaining your duo in the prop. Top props for best duo will be recognized on our website and social media channels! Happy Propping.
