Point A to point B. There is also a portion of us who rely on our vehicles to be an extension of our personality. Often, these people work on their cars to make them faster in order to compete. To be faster than the next guy. To have the loudest stereo or to get the most looks. To &#8220;keep up with the Joneses,&#8221; if you will.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-3344 \" src=\"https:\/\/cyberprops.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/car-whip-appreciation-cyberprops.jpg\" alt=\"car-whip-appreciation-cyberprops\" width=\"279\" height=\"203\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For me, my cars are worth much more than any of those reasons I just referenced. In a way, my cars are my girlfriends. Aside from me spending an unreasonable amount of money on them, I need them in order to keep my sanity. No one knows my cars the way that I do. I know every scratch, ding, and imperfection. I know what they like and I damn sure know what they don&#8217;t like. There is no better feeling than walking outside on a 75 degree, sunny day&#8230;. wiping the dust off my baby, throwing on some tire shine, and hitting the streets of Indianapolis.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-4100 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/cyberprops.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/whips-and-friends-300x217.jpg\" alt=\"whips-and-friends\" width=\"300\" height=\"217\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cyberprops.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/whips-and-friends-300x217.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cyberprops.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/whips-and-friends.jpg 580w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When we have a bad day, there are certain things that we all do to counteract the ill mood that the day brought. Some people go home and vent to a girlfriend or confidant. My cars do just that. I pick a project or an improvement. It can be as simple as a hand wash or an oil change, but it gives me peace and satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p>Working on my cars puts me in my &#8220;Happy Place&#8221;, much different than Happy Gilmore&#8217;s. Literally they do not match, but emotionally, they are identical. I assure you. Such a happy place that one&#8217;s soul mate may be the only be the only one with a spare key. Such a happy place that, no matter the situation, you&#8217;re are able pull the importance out of the experience and move on&#8230; <em><strong>Happily.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Props: My Cars.
