Props: Human Billboards.
In life, there are a variety of changes in many ways. Our streets can be bathed in the whitest of snow or blurry with waves of heat. Conversely in our own lives, one moment you be seen walking down the well-lit golden path to success, and in the blink of an eye, disappear down a dark corridor with an outlet known only to those who dare to wander down the path less-traveled.
Throughout out these changes in our external environment or condition, I want to give Props to those with the spirit to keep moving in the darkest of hall, or bleakest of vision. In particular I want to highlight the human billboards we see outside many stores trying to garner customers attention to their paying employers. Whether it’s in front of a Cash 4 Gold, used furniture outlet, or an overnight fireworks pop-up, these dedicated people are outside doing there best in all of nature seasons. They are the proud members of the “Hey… Look Over Here” Delegation.
Every time I drive past those costumed ambassadors, I smile as I observe their spirit of perseverance, that no matter what season they are in their life they are working to make it better the right way. They symbolize that thing we all have inside called courage, facing countless faces looking at them with thoughts of ridicule and disappointment, and instead of falling in to the shadow of self pity, they are raising to face life, with its bitter cold and excruciating heat, and performing for you to pay attention.
Well you sign acrobatics I am paying attention, props to you for not accepting the many excuses in-front of you, props to you for symbolizing that spirit of tenacity, that quite frankly many others could not. So dance to your own music, and endure what life gives, because if there is one thing we know about life its that nothing is permanent, but the way we handle is.
